Are You a Cheerful Giver?
Are you a cheerful giver in your marriage or one who hates the fact that you have to love, give, serve, and honor your mate?
If you attend church regularly, you may be familiar with 2 Corinthians 9:7, which says God loves a cheerful giver, i.e., one who is prompt or willing to give.
This scripture is often used for collecting money, but it's just as applicable to marriage.
Are you a cheerful giver in your marriage or one who loathes the fact that you have to love, give, serve, and honor your mate? Do you tend to do things happily or begrudgingly? Are you quick to give aid to your mate or are you hopeful he/she can get by without you having to give assistance?
Remember, God loves the cheerful giver, and one translation says that He will not do without a cheerful giver, one who who has a willing heart, and is ready to assist.
